Philippines e-Visa for United Arab Emirates Citizens
Citizens of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) can now apply for a Philippines e-Visa online, making it easier to travel to the Philippines for tourism or business without visiting an embassy or consulate in person. Under the expanded Philippine e-Visa system, UAE passport holders can submit their visa application through the official e-Visa portal and receive an electronic visa (Temporary Visitor’s Visa 9(a)) that they present at the port of entry.
In addition to the e-Visa option, UAE citizens currently enjoy visa-free entry to the Philippines for short stays (up to 30 days) for tourism or business purposes, provided they have a passport valid for at least six months beyond their intended stay and a confirmed return or onward ticket. The e-Visa is particularly useful if travellers wish to stay in the Philippines longer than the visa-free period, plan multiple visits, or need a visa for other specific short-term purposes.
Before applying or travelling, UAE visitors should check the official Philippines e-Visa website for the latest eligibility criteria, required documents (such as passport details, travel itinerary, and proof of accommodation), processing times, and fees.
